The Instrument Discovery Flight Plus+ only at CFI is a unique opportunity to fast forward to more advanced flight training without having to first complete basic level training. Skipping ahead gets you a sneak peek into flying based on cockpit instrumentation putting you that much closer to how an actual commercial airline pilot operates and either simulates (under the hood) or weather depending, will have you actually flying without being able to see out of the aircraft. During the Instrument Discovery Flight Plus+ you will be paired with one of our FAA Certified Instrument Flight Instructors for a real IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) Lesson completely focused on flying by instruments. From getting special clearances from air traffic control, making turns at imaginary intersections in the sky at exactly the right moment, to approaching an airport you can't even see, this is not your typical Discovery Flight. What's more, with an Instrument Discovery Flight Plus+, you have the option of bringing one backseat student for an additional fee, a great way to include a friend or family member in this more advanced discovery flight.
